I heard that Eugine Melnick (sp?) went into the dressing room after the game and tore the place apart and really let the team have it.. Pretty smart move by him, i will be suprised if 1/4 of the team isn't gone next year.. If they don't fire Martin, you can almost gurantee Spezza won't be back.. Lalime won't be back, unless he's back as a backup.. Pretty sad actually, they had a good team, just didn't show up last night..

I stand by what I said earlier...Ottawa has a Felix Potvin...good, but not great...that was the difference in the series I think... shoot and chances are good U score on him...

They did???????? Where was Alfredsson?? Oh, that's right, he was swinging his stick at McCabe.. Did they dress Bondra last night???? Zdeno Chara is the ONLY player who had an impact in last nights game.. I'm sorry, but Hossa, Havlat, Alfredsson and Bondra were no where to be found last night, they did NOT show up for this game the way they did in the previous 6..

Lalime will be back (sens couldnt score for 6 games not his fault)
Spezza back 100% (they arent going to let the future best player slip away)
Alfie back
Hossa back
Havlat back
Chara back
Redden back
Prusek back
Phillips back
Vermette back
Fisher back
Schaffer back
Volchenkov back
Bondra (YAY) back
deVries back
Neil back
Smolinski back
Varada (YAY) back
Bonk back
White back
Leschyshyn gone
Pothier gone
Ray gone
Simpson gone
Martin .. I REALLY hope he stays. I think that Lalimes screw up cannot be blammed on him, and if the rest could score there wouldnt need to be a game 7. He played 6 solid. Martin turned arounf the sens from a last placed to to first in only 6 years and i think getting rid of him would be a crime.
Mukler should also be back as GM. His deals didnt pay off this year, but with the man who put together the greatest team ever on your side (gretzky, messier, coffey, macsorley, kurri, fuhr etc) it is always a good thing.
Thats how I think the Ottawa situation will boil down.
Jason
