It's a het Dave.
What about these dwarf burms, never knew there was such a thing. Do you have any pics yet? How big do the females get?

I am sorry but i dont buy in to this dwarf burm crap.
As far as this co dominant stuff goes from what i know if an animal is co dominant it the regulare babys are regular not het for anything.
but that is just me.....

Hey Trevor,
dwarf burmese have only been recently found from what I understand. I think they will eventually be classified as a different species because they are in fact structurally different (scallation, eyes/nostril structure, etc).

Interesting to say the least... it will probably catch like fire if it's anything like the burmese pythons, but just smaller... I would expect the dwarf retics to be a hot item for many years to come as well... Anyways, if anybody has more information, please post!!

Maybe we can talk Martin into showing us a belly pic. The RUMOR I've heard is that the hets might be "yellow bellies".

I sure hope the dwarf burms work out. Burms where my first python and I really like them, just too big. My wife still worries about my ball pythons some how being dangerous to the kids or dogs. Anyone heard if the dwarfs have good temperaments too? Hopefully they can be crossed into the standard burm morphs without picking up much size or disease.
I'm thinking that Martin's het is not regular, that it probably has the rather odd belly like the ones that Jared posted. The thing I'm seeing in those pics is that the belly doesn't have dark flecking on it, it's like all the flecking was pushed up in piles along the edge (kind of like a bloodred corn).
