My fast growing Brachys

Hello.
Here is my B. emilia, quite the growing weed...
<img src="http://varanid.mvd2.com/files/dragoon/emilia.jpg">

And my B.smithi, already showing its colors...
<img src="http://varanid.mvd2.com/files/dragoon/smithi.jpg">
Sorry about the poor quality pics, I am just trying out my camera now that the little ones have grown. I see they either need to grow more, or I need a better camera!

Very nice Ts. How big were they when you got them? How big are they now? I'm getting a 1/2" B. Smithi as soon as its warm enough to ship.

Hello.
I got both the emilia and the smithi in December.

I am not sure about how to measure a spider, I think their legs have to be strectched out and you measure across the body. I haven't tried to get exact measurements on any of them due to lack of interest ... =)

The emilia was the size of my thumb, and the smithi was like a big housespider. (How's that for a visual?) They molt around once a month, the emilia is slowing down now... They have both doubled in size in four months. The smithi was spiderling grey and got a faint hint of pattern the molt before last, and the colors you see now this past molt. So it happens really quickly, IMO.
You do not have long to wait before yours looks like a real tarantula!
