Hey Hip, check out your boy!
This is Hip's male we're using for our Colombian project. Our project? Listen me, I do all the work and he gets half the litter, some partnership! lol
He arrived the 31st of December and weighed 510g.
Today on an empty stomach he weighs 1108g. He put on 598g in 3 months. I wish balls would grow like that!
Cheers,
Trevor

It's incredible how fast Colombians can grow compared to many other snakes.

Well Trev you are doing and awesome job he is sure going to be the champ I think. I was looking around for about 2 years till I found him. You would not believe how many plain jane below average and unremarkable boas I looked at over that time frame. I have really good luck when picking neonates( all of the ones currently in the collection are very nice as sub adults (as you have seen). I figure he is gonna be one of the best yet for coloration. Wait till you see what my next female will looks like coming into that time of year to start taking a good hard look at the newbie's popping out for the next couple of months should be exiciting. He trev keep up the good work. Once again I will state to you "I may have something for you when the time is right" this time it is the reverse I do all the work lol

Thanks bro.
Hey the easy part is getting them to eat! Getting them to breed will be the real test. I'm going to follow the Jeff Ronne model and keep my fingers crossed.
Cheers,
