I would say he is really thin as well, if hes eating get him parasite checked. I can not imagine him being very strong.

my chameleon fell today too. it was in the morning before his lights went on, and i was going over to see him and i fell and the noise must have woke him up. he started walking around and stuff, and i guess he jsut couldnt reallysee because it was too dark, and he jsut fell down. i got really scared, but then he just walked back up the side of the cage so i felt better.

ok things that might help! If u think he has paricites get a fecal and bring it into a vet its fairly cheap. that way u can rule that out. I wouldent say he looks too skinny but he id not plump either. How much is he eating, have u seen his poops how do they look. Falling is usually not good but he might have just goofed up it happens, Id just check out your husbandry just in case. let us know all your set up, lighting, temps, polants, ect that way we can make sure everything else is good. Check out the sites under my name for Chams and im sure the beardie forum could help u out with some good berdie info.

Probably has something to do with you feeding him mealworms. I'd never let any of my animals, other than leos, eat their fill of mealworms. It's really tough on thir stomachs, especially babies. Just a few in moderation is ok, but I would stick to using wax, butter, and silk worms as treats until he's bigger.

I read somewhere that sometimes they "fall" as a form of defense. I don't remember where I read it or how credible it was, but it said they'll "fall" or basically walk off the branch they're on to avoid some type of predator.

But again, I don't know how much I believe it, or how credible it was.

Wow I am sitting here dumbfounded at the fact that someone said it wasn't to skinny, That cham is definatly (and I have chams but am no expert) very underweight.
Feed it smaller gutloaded crickets dusted with calcium and vitamins.
