not a big frog person, just saw them sitting on the edge and decided to snap some photos. From what i can tell they are "Rana pipiens" Same thing?? We have quite a few of them as well as some other species of frog that frequent our little 17'x7' garden pond. Weather permitting i will head out tomorrow to snap some shots of the others. Apparently my Dad spotted a snake around the pond today too, he said he wasn't sure what kind, he just knows it was a snake so he ran. (needless to say he doesn't like the basement much )
