Lisa, I can't trade him in i've already invested 4 years. LOL

sapphire_moon- HEHE i did that already that's why we have leos, beardies and a rose hair tarantula, the snakes and the cham are all MINE. LOL But his are mine to no matter what he says.

When me and him get our own place i have a feeling i will come home and say "Look what followed me home" and i have a kitty. LOL I've already told him it's either a cat or a black lab when we buy our first home.

A lot of people who are allergic to cats will be allergic to the hairless and rex types too - it's the proteins in the saliva, skin glands, etc. that contribute to dander, and then get into the air. If it's a matter of asthma, then the hairless, rex, or Korats (beautiful shiny grey cats) may work.

There's also some evidence that some people allergic to cat proteins can keep Siberian cats - they aren't non-allergenic, but they seem to cause reactions in fewer people and with less severity.
