Cornsnake prices at show?????

I'm looking for a friend who cannot come to the show.

He wants a female cornsnake of any morph other than normal. He's not looking for any of the highly specialized and expensive ones.

If you have corns, or are selling at the show, can you give me idea's of prices?

Thanks.

I have seen plenty of variety in corns at the shows for less than 100 bucks....snows, anerys and amels can be had for less than 80. Normals I have seen for 25. I purchased a amel & anery for 55 each a couple years ago.

How is 80 dollars (even if they were 80 dollars which they arent) a lot of money for a snake? LOL. Sorry but for a living breathing captive bred animal, 80 dollars is the LOW end of prices. Sure you can search out 25 dollar deals but its about qaulity as well.

I've seen morphs as low priced as 25$ and as high priced as 80.... seems like the babies get smaller and smaller every year though

You're correct, SaIiLdVaEnR made an error in his/her calculations.
Today (Feb 17, 2004) the US dollar is worth $1.31 CDN. Thus, $25USD = $32.75CDN and $30USD = $39.30CDN.
Cheers,
Ryan

Sorry for the error guys, yeah I know where I messed up now. Yet, it is still a lot more realistic than
"which comes to about $50-80 CDN... about the same price."

I think babies get smaller and smaller each year, not b/c people are selling them younger, but b/c people are breeding them younger to cash in quick.

If you dont care what morph you get, you'll probably want an amel...very common, and not much more expensive than a normal. I've never been to the show (though I plan on going down this weekend), but I think if all you want is an amel, you shouldn't have to pay much more than about 60 cdn. If you do, you're either paying for exceptional high end color/pattern, or you're paying for the convenience of buying at the show.
