we could do a small rink in our backyard, but i haven't worn skates for 1/2 my life, just couldn't see the point in going in circles.

I heard about this on the radio, it cost something like $100 000.00 CDN to have these peopl come and build you an actual rink like this. pretty insane when you think about it!!

There is a huge field right by where I live and the community centre that is situated there floods it every winter to supplement the out door rink they already have....not THAT snazzy tho

I heard about that too, he has all the pipes and stuff installed to keep it going year round, either that or he's using the artificial ice, i can't remember right now.. He's a former Maple Leaf.. But his name slips my mind..
