Wonder what kind of setup you'd need. I can't afford the fish.

I've always wanted one! Always thought it would be a riot to have one waddling around, lol!

I doubt this site is legit though... Very little actual info, it all points to buy a book. Best of all, in the food category they have a whole crate of fresh fist for 35.55 and a lot of 3 fresh squid for 69.95. Those have to be some darn big squid to warrant that price LOL!

I work in a fish market and squid is one of the cheapest things! Even if they were huge they still wouldn't warrant that hefty price and each squid would have to be at least 5 kilos each. Just the food price list is bogus so I really wonder about the whole thing. Most likely a hoax.

LMAO

I have a breeding pair of House Hippos if anyone is interested.

They love to eat potato chips and sleep in your closet.

Ummm, HFH, I have bad news for you. House hippos, much like eastern milks, western hoggies, and common snappers while being indigenous to parts of Canada, are restricted in Alberta. Do you have the permits?

Yes Gary i have all the paper work and permits for them...

I have even made a little care sheet for them, it is as follows:

house hippos are friendly, but will defend their territory if necessary.

house hippos live in bedroom closets, where they make nests from lost mittens, dryer lint, and bits of string.

their nests have to be soft, because house hippos sleep about 16 hours a day.

house hippos come out at night when they search for food and water

house hippos like to eat chips , raisins, and the crumbs from peanut butter on toast
