I think it's ok to feed eggs to BTS. But I don't think you should be feeding hot dogs to snakes. Hot dogs don't have all the nutritional requirements met by say a mouse or rat, so you really shouldn't be feeding your snake something like that.......not sure on the toad thing.

no, then everyone would want a snake because you could "just feed it hot dogs." ![Frown](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif) But maybe a cute cartoon commercial.

Hot dogs have NO nutritional value to any species, including humans.

*LOL* sure would not reccomend this as a steady diet, but I've seen indigos eat tuna right out of the can, pieces of prepared hamburger patties, a piece of a goat leg before it went on the BBQ, saw a garter snake eat a grape etc. etc.
For ***** sakes, do not ever consider any of these items as even a supplement. Cute as a novelty, but nothing more.

I feed my toads canned catfood in the winter because they don't like crickets (which is kind of odd....). It has actually made them grow quite quickly, as compared to the regular insects I feed them. But I wouldn't reccomend it because even if it seems like a healthy food now, I don't know how it would be in the long run.

Daver, true I love to take a bite out of a big juicy jumbo, letting the juices drip down my chin...............but I would never offer my juicy jumbo to any of my snakes.
