what kidna internet do you have?
Id suggest unpluging it for like 5 mins
You can also try deleting your cookies, is it only ssnakess you cant get onto or the internet in general?? If its just ssnakess maybe deleting your cookies will make it forget ssnakess and you'll be able tog et back on. Go to tools, options and delete cookies

lol Bart it's rarely the computers fault.

So when you say you reformated I'm assuming you reinstalled windows as well. Also are you on a home network. Maybe your mom block ssnakess.com so you would leave your room

ok try this
1) go here http://network-tools.com/ your ip automaticly comes up in the box. click submit
2) once its done its thing scroll down to where it says
"Domain servers in listed order:"
there should be at least 2. it should look something like this
NS1SO.CG.SHAWCABLE.NET 24.64.63.195
but different
3) copy the IP of the first one
4)co start>control panel>network connections>Local Area Connection>properties
5)switch from obtain dns automaticly to use the following DNS. paste in the ip you coppied then ok. if that didnt help try pasting the other dns IPs if none of them helped put it back to obtain DNS automaticly

I am assuming you are behind a router or switch if you said you ahve more than one computer at your home...
What is the model of your router or switch? Try a firmware update on it.

Also Derrick, if he does do this and is behind a router, it will not work, he would need to be directly connected to the modem in order for the configure manually to work since his router prob determins it automatically.
