Herp Care Software 2.0 released!

I'm very proud to announce the release of version 2.0 of my freeware Herp Care Software (HCS) this week.

This version has some big improvements compared to the previous version, like a full-blown menu and help file, a new species screen. A SCHEDULER to schedule your herp's feedings, a new improved way of printing, etc...

You can download this freeware software from my website:

The GeckoCam

For those who don't know HCS yet: this software enables you track the vital statistics of your herps, like feeding, length, weight, sickness, etc...

You can also manage the humidity, temperature, etc... of your enclosures.

And best of all, it's freeware. But if you like it , please donate some money so I can keep developing this software to make it a reference for every herp keeper!

I'm still looking for some major sponsors in the industry who want to support my project in the future, so if you know anyone who might be interested, do not hesitate to let him/her contact me.

Enjoy the software!

Cheers

LotusE

I will download it when I get home tonight. Did you guys ever try the ones they sell on e-bay?
Anyhow, I will try this one, and if I like it, will donate some money to your webcite.

Thanks so much for all your work. I've enjoyed using the first edition and saw a couple of days ago that you had released a second edition - I can't wait to download it and try it.

I'm really excited about this new release, as I've been using HCS for many months now, and let me tell you, I would be LOST without it. Something I've always said is that it needs a reminder feature... and now that it has it, I'll be donating as soon as humanly possible.

LotusE, thank you for the awesome software. I've checked out the new version, I love it. Good job.

Hello Lotus, really like the program. I am having one problem though. I will type in some info, in one of the boxes and as soon as i save it, it will dissappear. Can you help?

Anyone that needs tech help should probably ask in the HCS forum on the geckocam site

Of course it's always better that you post problems on the forum on my site, so other users may also benefit from it, but I'll make an exception

ChunkyMunky: in which box are you typing the info?

Sean Day: this is probably due to a connection problem that the setup file got corrupted, since other people were able to download and install the software correctly, I suggest you retry downloading it.

Crazyboy: press F1 in the 'Feed Me' screen and you will get all the explanation you want to activate the reminder.

Oh and thanks for all the appreciation, it means so much to me!

Cheers
