Here's a better one. She was happier to 'pose' this time.

Very nice stiped cal king - and I have to admit to preferring Slinky to Skunky for her name - I am sure that initial musking was just a minor indiscretion!
thanks for sharing,
mary v.

She is in a plastic 'chocolate box' inside the enclosure which is a wooden one with a cream background. I got it from the place that I got the snake. They use them in the shop and I got it at cost price. It has a half-size heating pad attached to the bottom.
I'm not sure what a case and snake would cost in Canada but whereas the complete set-up would normally cost £200 I got it for £120. I think that works out at 276 canadian dollars/214US dollars.

That's a nice-looking Cal-King you have there. What a great stripe. I've said it once, and I'll say it again; there's nothing quite like a nice, black-and-white California Kingsnake, striped or banded.
Great little enclosure, too.
I notice that you're in the U.K. - are North American snakes common in the hobby over there?
Simon

Simon, they are quite popular.
Talking to someone in the trade, the most popular snakes at the moment are Western Hognoses, followed by Corn sankes, but Pythons and Kings are popular too. Milks tend to be much more expensive though.
I'm not sure what the exchange rates are at the moment but, to give you an example:
Hognose £59.99
Corn £59.99
Royal Python £79.99
King £59.99
Milk £149.99
