Most beardies are all bark and no bite. They may puff out the beard and hiss a little bit but there bite is weak. Just handle it once a day for awhile and he should calm down.

HEllo,

You should just handle them, and let them get used to being held, and aventually you will probally have the nicest bearded in the world!(just a metaphor but your dragon will be nice!)

Yep

The more you handle beardies, the tamer they will become.

A little advice:

Put on a dark shirt and put the dragon underneath the shirt, the darkness usually tells them to sleep, and while the dragon rests, it will get used to your smell. If your dragon has sharp claws, double up on the shirts, lol.
Also, just putting your hand in the tank and leaving it there will accustom the dragon to the hand symbolizing good. Same thing with hand-feeding. Hand-feeding is a GREAT way for you and your dragon to bond. Good Luck!
