tailed frogs?
Does anyone know of any exact locations in BC to find tailed frogs? At what time, where abouts in that area etc... They are at the top of my list, any suggestions would be very helpfull.
Also looking for the pacific giant salamder, in BC.

Hey man I found some tailed frogs out in sooke watershed area a few times but that was a few years ago now and most of that area has been logged and closed off too the public I'll ask my brother in law if you can even get in there anymore. As for the giant haven't found one of those yet. I've moved up island a little bit now though so I am looking in new areas now so I'll be sure and kepp ya posted. Let me know if you find one though as they are pretty cool.

cool thanks. Im in shawnigan now and havnt found much other than red legs, tree's and red backs.... I am moving to sooke so i am DEFINATLY looking into that! Do your remember where exactly your found them at sooke water shed?

photograph. mostly look at their habitat and what sort of surroundings they have to try and get a grip on where else i might be able to find them.

I didn't think that there was any Ascaphus on the Island?? Are you sure it wasn't metamorphing R. a. aurora or something??
