Pics arent working after the 2nd taipan for me.... But nice snakes for all the others!!!!

EDIT-The pics are now working after several "refreshes"... love the 2nd unidentified rattlesnake, he looks so MEAN... i also love the yellow eyelash, and the bump on the cali does look weird, what is it?

that strange looking "vine snake" was a savannah twig snake or bird snake. probably a thelotornis kirtlandii. you would have to be crazy to work with one of those snakes. there is no antivenom for them and they kill in 3-5 days with i believe to be a cyto toxic venom.

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, it was fun finally seeing a zoo with a decent reptile population. Those Booleans were amazing! Redminded me of beefed-up JCPs with pitbull heads.

The majority of the reptiles there were ones I have never seen before in person, so it was worth the 1800+ mile drive down.

I didn't take any photos of the galapagos tortoises.. they were too busy with each other-producing babies for the zoo!
