Albino Breeding
I should have included this in my last posting of the breeding pics. This is my albino male breeding a normal female. I produced him back in early Aug 2001. He was the first albino produced in Canada. I produced him from Breeding my Het Caramel Albino male to my Het Caramel Albino Female (that I purchased from NERD).

Enjoy,

Corey have you been able too produce any other clutches from the caramel hets or are they looking promising this year cause it would be interesting to see if they are double hets cause it looks like they were sold to you as single het for caramel. Still fantatsic to get an albino but man it would be nice too see a caramel especially when thats what you paid for.

Scott,
Yes, it would be nice to produce a Caramel! If not from my original het pair then I'll produce Caramels from breeding my Pastel het Caramel male to my Caramel female............I also have 20+ female possible het Caramels here as well as 2 het Caramel females as well..............so, needless to say I'll produce Caramels eventually.
But, hopefully my original pair of hets are double hets.

My female het Caramel produced 3 slugs in 2001. In 2002 she produced 5 fertile eggs and 1 slug. Out of the 5 eggs were 1 albino and 4 normals. This year, 2003, she produced 6 fertile eggs of which all 6 were normal. So, out of 11 eggs I've produced 1 albino and 10 normals.
