I don't own any frilleds but i read that they can have cypress mulch, bed a beast, or soil as a substrate,or some people even mix them, i'm not possitive but sombody will correct me if im wrong.

Im pretty sure most people can figure out that subtract was a spelling error and substrate was what he meant, no need to be a sarcastic pr!ck...As for SUBSTRATE I have found that that Expandable substrates such as "Forest bed" and "Bed-a-beast" work quite well as it is easily digestable and looks good in a tank. The only downside is that with the heat lamps beating down on it, it does dry out quickly and needs to be mixed around frequently to give it a "fresh" look. Use a THICK layer and the moisture will keep easily enough underneath. A Cypress mulch is also fine to keep humidity but I personally wouldn't take the chance having to feed on it since a sharp wood piece could be ingested and cause some problems.
Cheers, Kyle
