The vet is not nessecery .. He just aquarired this snake about 2 weeks ago .. it has records of a perfect feeder. He simply needs to feel safe in his surroundings.

Shane,

Pt him in a small container .. leave him in there for an hour or so .. then try to feed him a mouse but make shure he does not seee anything else but the mouse . try everything .. like leaving him overnight in the container with the mouse .. brain the mouse .. live mouse ( WATCH AT ALL TIMES) .. wwarm it up reall reall well and try it right away .. Also sometimes hitting the rat on the snakes body a bit .. lie teasing him wiill get him annoyed enough to make him it it..

If this all fails then i'll come over and give u a hand bud .. and trust me hes does not ned to see a vet. i saw him and he comes from a very respected and knoledgable keeper .. He is in top shape.

Lemme know how it goes
Dom

Pain in the butt snakes

You might also try a smaller meal to , My cal king male was pain to feed to and it turned out all he want was a few live hopper mice instead of a large mouse no biggie.
Try this as already stated my doms in a rubbermade there not big or old enough to hurt the snake ( arnt snakes fun .lol)
Hope this helps you out .
Phil
