Frogs in my duckweed pond

Taken with an Olympus C3030 Zoom digital

I didn't realize these guys live in the city too, always thought they stayed out in the wild.
He is one of two leopard(?) frogs who've taken up residency in my garden pond. At times it's hard to
see them with all the duckweed floating around. Talk about camouflage.
Now I think I know what happened to my stash of dew worms and all the neat bugs I always used to catch in the flower beds.
Between the frogs, the 10+ toads, 3 garter snakes and the ever present birds, rabbits and skunks, I'm assuming my 'no pesticides' gardening is working out.

lol and now the garters eat the toads and frogs, the birds eat the garters, the skunks eat the bird and the rabbits leave due to the smell of the skunks. what a system lol. great pic

The pond itself is just one of those black water garden containers that garden centres sell - maybe 3' x 2' and 10 inches deep. It's sitting in my wildflowers, some of which are 3 feet and taller. The day I took those pictures, I had nothing better to do than lie on the ground hidden in the plants, waiting for the frog to surface again.
It took almost 10 minutes of lying on the ground with ants and spiders crawling over me just to take a picture of a frog. Maybe I need a life or something???

Oh... just for the record, I'm a 'she' not a 'he'.
