Feeding rats to a BP.

live rat to a BP? hey my ball is about 2.5 months old and he didnt eat for 4 weeks, so i decided to try giving him a live fuzzy mouse, a live fuzzy rat then f/t fuzzy rats. do you guys think this will work? because im really trying to get him on rats and ive tried everything else

um for a 2.5 month old BP definately a rat pup......fuzzy rats are too big i would think?? try live rat pups...they cant do anything.

Sorry i couldnt picture a fuzzy rat.......depends on the girth really though. so its fine. just be careful......didnt you try f/t?? try braining....chicken broth....simulating its movement.

Actually Snakeman, fuzzies are smaller than pups. A hatchling Bp can take a fuzzy rat. a 2.5 month old should easily be able to take a pup. My 6 younger BP's are 4 months old and eating large weanlings with no troubles at all.

give it some time. 4 weeks is nothing for a snake to go with out food,
