Dead Scales?

hey ive had my BP for about 1.5 months now and a few weeks ago i notied some scales that were supposed to be white or yellow were discolored and darker then they should be. this is in about 10random places on the snake. i got it from a terrible pet store. im wondering what could have caused this, i dont think its anything i did because im keeping him in great conditions its just that i noticed them a few weeks after i got him not right away.

it is probably a bad shed, it should come off with the next shed......

and take the name of the pet store out of your post!

Do you think it is old shed that just hasn't come off? If so, then a good soaking should do the trick. Good luck.

Yeah, u could try whatt Daver said. Just use the tupperware fill it w/ luke warm water. just like...Half inch to and inch of water. And I know hugh doesnt like being in his box except for feeding. So I put his little hide in there and make sure I get some water under it. So he can chill in there while still being warm and getting the soak down removing scales.
