Hi Jason...what a great picture! Which panther is this? I breed Rainbows from Deigo Suarez and am awaiting my first batch to hatch.

Nice panther.
Maroanstetra's don't have much blue in them do they?
He's going to be a beaut when he's full grown.

HA - i think me and trace have a few plans for him ... i would buy a girl, but i have the 2 dwarfs now, and i find the egg laying process is really stressful, so i think i am going to wait a little to find him a girl .. then again, i am going to toronto in april for the expo, and buying whatever connie has there at the time prolly a male sambava

i got no clue .. as for the 'red bars' you speak of ... i think i should prolly clairify something; from what connie tells me, the colour of ambanjas is 100% random. she has had red bars have only blue bars offspring, and blue bars have red babies ... from what she tells me, it has nothing to do with genetics ...
dont hold me to that

Well, it's obviously rather hard to tell if a female panther is red bar or blue bar or whatever the case may be, they all look the same. So it cannot depend solely on the sire, you have to know what your females are deep down inside.
