Great Show Last Night

Well, AFI played here in Calgary last night, and it was an awesome show. The openers were Autopilot Off (who were alright) and Poison The Well (who I didn't like too much). There was a good crowd, and the band was excellent. The Dropkick Murphys are coming to town on Halloween (I already have my tickets), so I am getting pumped up for that show. By the way, both shows were/will be held in Mac Hall, in the same place where the TARAS fall show was, so AFI was playing right where the SCALES exhibit was .

Damnit! Why am I always the last to hear about this stuff? I would've loved to see AFI play. *sigh* I guess I'd better start paying more attention to the paper. Well, there's always the Dropkick Murphys.

Glad you had fun though.

Well, I'd say they played a mix of new and old stuff. They played Girl's Not Grey, Morningstar, Days of the Phoenix, Ever and a Day, Totalimmortal, The Secret Ninja, Cruise Control, and of course God Called In Sick Today (which they played last and was really amazing).
