I really like your perspective. I am tired of looking at paintings that depict nothing more than a "resemblance" to someone else's. Now, it seems anyone can slap some oil on canvas and make a quick buck, but it takes talent and confidence to make artwork unique. Good job and good luck.

Yes, I do know her story. It's terrible, how she is now. I assume you saw the follow-up picture they took?

well the story to her is that she was 12 in that picture (painting) and then a bunch of guys (older men) fell in love with her because her eyes are so mesmerising i think...and then maybe 20?years later a photographer went back and found her and took annother picture of her and she looks terrible! she was only 25-35 in the second picture (she doesnt know her reeal age) but she looks so bad because of the terrible life she was living. anyone who hasnt seen the 2 pictures should look for them its incredible.
thanks for all your input also, if i got anything wrong about the girl please correct me thanks

Those paintings are absolutely stunning. That is the kind of artwork I would want in my home.

Nope, you got it right. Actually, though, another woman was claiming to be her. But they examined her eyes and it wasn`t. They found the real girl later, but it ook them a couple days to see her because men other than her family aren`t allowed to see her without her husband`s permission.
She yes, she looked awful. `She wouldn,t let them take a picture of her for a new issue of national geo showing her face... so they covered her up completely.
