I went out and got a Canon A70 today and I am completely in love with it already... check it out:

There that should get you excited about the capabilities of your new camera. Get some rechargeable batteries if you haven't already! You'll need them.

Thanks for the comments folks!

RMB, those are awesome pictures.... I looove your buggy eyed leopard gecko, by the way It's going to take me years to figure out how to use all the features, and yep, I got the rechargeable batteries. I've been having so much fun with this thing, I think I may have found a new hobby.

nice pic Snakelet!....RMB....good pics too!.....pics. like these make me angry for putting off buying a decent cam....it especially ticks me off when I'm up north finding all sorts of interesting photography subjects and only a piece of junk to snap with!
