Black Pine Sawyer????
I was told that this bug is called a Black Pine Sawyer. I found it a few months ago on a golfcourse in ontario. ENJOY!!

Yup, that's exactly what it is, (Monochamus scutellatus) Their ability to "vocalize" is really cool.

When you hold them by the abdomen they bob their thorax and head up and down making a really loud Eep Eep Eep sound. Its hilarious!

we got someting a lot like that up here it goes by many names: tarsand beetle, velcro beetle, lots of people call them june bugs but thats cause they are morons its actually a White-spotted Sawyer Beetle(ours that is).
