Got A New Girl. :)
Yay! I'm FINALLY a gecko owner! Last night I picked up a female Bibron's Gecko (Pachydactylus bibronii). She's a real sweetheart, and REALLY fast! On payday I'll be getting her several climbing branches, as I know that this is an arboreal species. I also want to NIX her, but, because their skin is so sensitive, I'm VERY worried about doing it in the first place. Maybe 1 or 2% Nix in 99 to 98% water may do it, or is that too weak to have any effect? Anyways, she's very alert, looks healthy, has great colour to her, and a healthy looking weight. I'll have pictures of her up as soon as I can.

Because she came from the store that I work at, and I want to take all necessary precautions.

Drewlowe - Beardies are definitely on the "to get" list, as soon as we can afford all of the appropriate housing materials.

Bibron's are very neat geckos! Love to see some pics of yours. Although, I was kind of expecting your next acquisition to be another tarantula

Well good luck with the little guy, I hear they are really fun and easy to breed. So where do you work?

Careful with that Nix, Eugene. Sorry, I just couldn't resist that one.
You might want to consult with a couple of other keepers on this site before using Nix on a gecko. While I've used it on a blue tongued skink with great success, it apparently can be harmful or even fatal to many other lizards and gex.
Just a heddzup,
WM

You're sure of that are you? I seem to recall agreeing to ONE spider in the house.
