introduction
hello- i'm just going to say a little bit about myself, and let you all know how much i've already learned the past few days i've looked in on some of the forums...... there fantastic. my name is brian, i've raised different types of kingsnakes up in pittsburgh, one retic, and a emerald tree boa. i'm now in florida and i've just gotten a female green tree python, yellow and about a year old. i'm about to get a orange male to keep her company. i'm looking forward to trying to breed them in a few years, hope it's as easy as the kingsnakes were.............. anyway i'm glad to be here and talking with you all.

thanks all, maybe someone can help me with a question i have, i don't know where to ask it so here goes. my female gtp i bought in july, and i took her to my vet to get her checked for health and sex. she had mites and i treated the box she came in, problem solved. i asked my vet about some small bumps that she had.... down her back and her sides. he said the small bones down her spine was what i was seeing, and maybe some of these are.... but some of them are way down her side, far from the spine, and i think there is more of them now than when i first got her. bottom line is the vet said her could treat her for parasites, but she is eating well and in good health now, and that treatment could be harder on her than the parasite. my emerald tree boa had the same small bumps, when i had her years ago. does anyone have a idea what these could be.... and how hard would treating them be on the snake?

Welcome! I'm sure you'll find a lot of helpful guidance on breeding here, as well as anything else you'd need to know!
