Unhappy cancer?

i picked up fark today for her daily inspection. she had eaten yesterday so i made it quike, until i noticed a small lump about an inch and a half behind her head. it looks like a bb was put under her skin. its kinda squishy, but definitly not muscle

could this be cancer?

she is quite active at night, and often falls from trying to climb the glass, could she have fractured a rib and its swollen. it doesnt feel like a broken rib, and she doesnt flinch when i touch it.

i also had her outside the other day, could she have been biten by a mosquito or bug? (i dont know if animals have the same reaction to mosquito bites as humans, most unlikley)

but still i am very worried about her, she is doing phenomenaly better than she was 2 months ago, shes at 130g now! and her feeding response is great. if you have any suggestions pllease dont hesitate to respond. i called the vet, and no one was available to answer my questions, so they tok my name and #, and where gonna call, but no word since.

sorry for the long post im just worried about my baby girl, and im really scared, again please anyhelp would be ggreatly appreciated.
THANX
-Jacob

Country:
I would say either a water blister or some sort of parasite. VERY VERY unlikely that it is cancer. A vet trip is definitely not out of the question.

Nematodes, a type of worm, often travel througout the body and will often cause subcutaneous lumps. They are very common in farmed BP's shipped from Africa.

Water blister disease is a syndrome caused by too much humidity and is not very common in ball pythons which have high moisture tolerance. Many colubrids are particularly vulnerable to blistering but it's rare in BP's.
