Question "normal" behavior??

I just got a baby boa and after her initial inspection of the enclosure she now spends most of her time attached to an elevated handle in the warm side of her enclosure. Is this normal?

Thanks, mark

mine did the same thing when i first got her 2 1/2 years ago.

she stayed there for like 3 days or so and then moved into her hide.

this is normal dont need to worry about it.

Boas pretty much go wherever they please in the enclosure. Sometimes elevated, sometimes hidden, sometimes out in the open, sometimes buried in the substrate.

Although they may have preferred area, another reason a snake may stay on the warm side is because the temps are too cool. Same with if it ison the cool side all the time, may mean the temps are too warm.
