Thumbs down Death Died

Well that Leopard Gecko that I was trying to save from the store just died. I lifted the lid and was going to seringe feed him if he refused another meal and he was lying there dead. At least it wasn't death by freezer and I tried to give him a chance. I had been awaiting his poop so that I could bring in a fecal...I guess he was too far along. He had been sick for a while and the pet store had done nothing about it. Like, before I was working there, that gecko needed attention.

The cornsnake is still good. Won't eat yet but isn't regurging or anything with the forcefeeding.

I guess you win some you lose some.

RIP Little Sickly Gecko

Jenn

sorry to hear about that. Please make sure you clean every thing real good. Even though it wasn't your leo you may want to do a necropsy on him/her anyway to determin what killed him/her.

Sorry to hear the little gecko didn't make it...

It's nice to know that his last days were in a nice home with someone who really cared instead of in the pet shop.

This may sound off the wall and such......but you could probably sue the pet shop for neglect and abuse of the animals.......since you are an employee there (Your still there aren't you?) and if not then as an ex employee you know how bad THEY kept the animals before you got there......thats just how far I would go.... Just my opinion...and I would have a necropsy done to....just to make sure it was something that couldn't spread to my other animals........good luck with your little corn snake!
