Mark IsBell (gonesnakee)
TheRedDragon and I have now DOUBLED our collection!!! We went from 7 to 14 snakes, thanks to Mark IsBell of Mark's Gonesnakee! in Calgary. Here's what we got:
2.1 Ghost Corns
1.1 Snow Corns
1.0 Lavendar King
0.0.1 Vietnamese Blue Beauty
They have all got great personalities, and are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I picked the corns on the following criteria. For the ghosts, I wanted lightly colored specimens. Once the lightest ones were picked, I went by personality and head pattern. Same with the snows. I got some REALLY neat head patters that I will be posting pics of later today. (Gotta get the digicam to work to offload the pictures.)
The VBBs were hilarious. I'll let Mark post the story about the snakes that were "showing off" and making a liar of him. LOL
RedDragon and I would like to give a huge thanks to Mark. He is an exceptional breeder to deal with, has great breeding stock, and is very professional and friendly. I recommend Mark to ANYONE who is looking to increase their collection.
From RedDragon and I, thanks Mark!
(pics to come later today)

Cool, I'm glad to hear you are happy with your new pets. THX for the compliments.
I was telling Ken how well behaved the Vietnamese Blue Beauties had been. Well the first one "launched" about 3 feet out of the tub & was snagged by me in mid air & I was "tagged" right away. 2nd one tagged me right away & you guessed it 3rd one tagged me right away also. Ken wasn't too believing at this point, but the next one was nice & calm to show him that their dispositions weren't all that bad. Another classic story of me going on about how nice they are & then bite, bite, bite!
LOL Mark I.
P.S. Subliminal message for Invictus & Red Dragon:
MMMMMUST............... GET........ MORE...... SSNAKESS.....................

On the plus side, the VBB that I did decide on is pretty much puupy dog tame now. She tail whips a lot, but doesn't seem overly interested in biting.
I feel like something was subliminally suggested to me.... I suddenly feel like I want to buy more snakes.....

Just a note to echo the comments of Invictus and TheRedDragon - we made our trip to see Mark at Gonesnakee on Sunday and came away with some wonderful new baby corns. All are settling in well and Mark was great to deal with and very generous in person (after much correspondance by e-mail to get this trade).
Will post photos once the little girls (and two guys) have settled in.
