pictus or crested
I THINK I have narrowed down my choices on a new lizard to these two. Either a crested gecko, or a small colony of pictus geckos. What do u think?

Definately pictus. They are so much fun to watch! And since their care is so close to leos, you can't go wrong.

I'd go with cresteds ![Big Grin](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) They don't really require much in the way of heating or lighting, and come in some really nice morphs

Both...lol I agree with Joe on this one. Get what is most appealing to YOU! This question is like asking us what YOU want to drink...lol They are both awsome species! Good luck!

Opinions seem to be pretty divided. In which case, I'm still torn. How about this - are both handleable? Is one more tolerant to handling?
Care for both seems pretty simple.

They are both handleable -- however, IMO pictus are much easier to handle than cresteds -- just because of the jumping factor. LOL
