Question what do you think of this idea?

I have some geckos in a pretty big all screen enclosure. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time keeping hot and humid.

This is my idea. I was thinking of sewing clear shower curtain to the inside of 3 of the walls, and the top, and using the heatlamps all in a row on the 1 side that doesnt have any plastic lining it. Do you think this would be effective in keeping in heat and humidity, and making it more tropical?

Its for a Tokay, White line, and Golden gecko.

yeah, but I already paid the money for the tank, plus I put alot of work into the inside.

There is all kind of stuff in there from them to run on and hide in. I dont want to just put it in a closet to waste away. Besides, the only tank I have for them would be a 30 gallon aquarium, and that would only give them 10 gallons each. too small. Basically, I want to know if my idea will work in salvaging the enclosure I have.

Those reptariums are crap, unless you are housing a lizard that likes dry conditions. Scrap it. Even with the shower curtain, it's still way too open in the front and top. You will never be able to hold humidity in there unless you have a mister running 24/7.

Agreed. I have yet to hear anything good about those Reptariums. Possibly for chameleons, but aside from that, all bad news and impossible additions that must be made.

I suppose your idea would work though.
