Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knew if anyone in canada has EVER produced a snow boa? Also, what is the market price for a snow boa?
Thanks,
Ben

No they haven't been produced here yet and the market price is $5,000US. That would be about $6,900CDN. But then you have to factor in CITES, shipping, and all that jazz and now you're looking at roughly $7,500CDN.

Actually, an albino is just 1/3 of the way to a snow. Then you need an anery, then you need to make double hets, THEN you can produce the snow.
I'll be getting the albino 100% het anery and anery 100% het albino at the end of this summer. Adults if I can afford it, babies if I have no money left.

HMMM I thought u needed to breed an albino with an anery to get a snow? If you dont get a snow with anery x albino, then what do you get? Also, does anyone know how many times the offspring can be inbred to produce a snow without getting any problems such as producing mutts or runts from too many times of inbreeding?

Anery x Albino gives you ALL NORMALS that are 100% double het.
As for predicting when hidden deliterious/lethal alleles will occur in a generation due to inbreeding? Well that is next to impossible. You'd have to map the genome first, and then work out the probabilities. NOT going to happen in our lifetimes.
