55 HOURS HOME and THEY ARE HUNGRY!

Hi there:

Well ZUES and APHRODITE have been home 55 hours and I thought I would test for a few minutes to see if they are hungry, normally I would wait 1 week or more. I thawed out 2 fuzzy mice and presented, BANG both hit on first strike. APHRODITE snapped on the fuzzy mouse' s head and just started swallowing it fast. She will be a furious eater I think.

ZUES is more into playing with his food he also smacked on first strike but he got the fuzzy sidways on the ribs. Kind like the big dog with a big bone trying to get it through the door or hallway, just that goofy exactly. Bust after 14 minutes he got it with a better grip but swallowed the meal backwards - tail first.

Both made me proud hardly any trying from me and a few more days I' ll try again cause they are hungry but I donot want to push my luck so far.

Here are some feeding pictures, if you love fuzzy mice WARNING walk away now.........you have been warned!

Enjoy the pictures these dreams are so cute to watch and watch.

More pictures are at my site too:

are you talking about the albino boas they should be eating large ratpups by now if they came from generasianexotics.

I saw the pictures and yes the food item is small, but its better to feed a snake a small food item after shipping, just incase they are stressed.

Hi there DVS, BOA and ZOE:

Almost sounds like a song........lol.

Well I had a few of these fuzzies left so they gotta go sooner or later before they spoil, these were bought before for my JCP to learn on to eat frozen thawed. So DVS I bought them as fuzzies being larger than pinkies with fur. Being also the right size on the safe size to feed my albino boas after just arriving from the breeder.

These 2 Albino boas are from GENERASIANEXOTICS so your right "BOA". But I worry to be feeding something as big as rat pups, but not sure how big rat pups are actually I will need to see some then. I usually go from fuzzies to juvenile - adult mice then small rats to adult rats and soon I guess even rabbits on my Columbians.

I would like to feed bigger food if its safe. But these 2 Albinos are small still at under 2 pencil thick and 16 - 18 inches long. As you can see the pictures they ate a mouth full as a test to see if they do eat. So they passed that test well.

So you all think I should go to rat pup size on these 2 being this small still?

Just wondering, because I do not want to hurt or burst my 2 dreams here after waiting so long.

DVS they pictures do show I checked in to write this and there loaded and I think ZOE and BOA show the post with the pictures loaded.

I' ll check into rat pups and try it out in a few days as a regular feed. This 1st one was to see if they are hungry and can eat without complications. ZOE did you get my recent email?

Cya all thanks for the replies hope to hear from you again.
