Green ivy...

Im setting up a new terrium for my bp and want to give it the jungle look.So i was wondering would it be safe ti put green ivy in the same terriuma s a bp?I know that they are toxic to some animals but im wondering if it owuld be ok to keep with an animal that doesnt eat plants...
