Question New Camera

I'm looking into getting a new camera for myself, it's a toss up between the Nikon F65 and the Cannon Rebel 2000. What do you guys/girls think is the better camera?

I don't know much about either camera, are they film or digital? personally i don't have much use for film anymore, the extra cost for a digital is more then paid for in film/developing costs.

yes i agree digital cameras are well worth the money spent. My mom bought me a really nice camera for christmas (which i love it) but it takes film. But my boyfriends mom has a super nice digital that i absolutly love. Only if i could persuade my mom to give me 1000.00 so i could buy one as nice as my mans mom. But personally now that i see how much nicer a digital camera is. I would get one.

I have a Nikon F65. Most of the pics of the big cats in my gallery are taken with that (I have a sigma 70mm-300mm zoom lens attached to it though). I really like this camera and I think it is good for a beginner like me and will serve me well as I get more into photography.

I use a Minolta. They aren't the best but they are small and take pretty good pics.
