i live in VA, and most of the ringnecks i find are under a flat surface (plywood etc...) on the forest floor, thats covered in leaf litter. milks i have not found, i have encountered kings though, 1 under a rock in a creek, and the other on an island in the Shenandoah. racers i have yet to find. good luck
