The numbers are in...

...I think. I was so excited while moving them from the nest box to the incubation box that I'm not sure if these are accurate or not but I think it is 22 laid and maybe up to 6 slugs. Not sure why so many slugs because according to the guy I got her from she had better weight this year going in then she did last year. As a matter of fact she weighs heavier today (535g) after laying then she did coming out of brumation (507g). Any thoughts? I did move her by car for about 3.5 hours after copulation. I was also wondering if may be some times her temps where too low. I was trying for 88 but I often found the hot spot at 84-85. The heat did not seem to travel through the sphagnum very well. I think next clutch I'll use peat like her last owner did last year.
Cheers,
Trevor

I removed all the slugs tonight from the clutch because they were starting to mold. I know that you don't always have to and there is that whole foot powder thing but I took em out anyway. That leaves me with 9 maybe 10 at best. I just hope I get at least a pair of anerys, the rest can be normal it won't bother me I just want my pair.
Cheers,
Trevor
