Why are they still breeding after 8 weeks +
lol I know I should not be complaining about this but these guys have been getting it a bit too often.. Any ideas why they would still be going at it after such a long time span..
Heres some cutes pics..
I still can't beleive how rough these guys are too when there breeding.. throwing themself everywhere.. lol ....there pretty loud love makers!

well Dom it's simple... they are HORNY!! Stop being a peeping tom!
to be serious for a minute though.. It could just be that you female wasn't/isn't ready yet, thus still producing horomones/pheromons and is going to be a late ovulator. One of my good friends as black pines that are still in the same situation as your bulls.. constant breeding.. no eggs.. it usually takes her until end of may to ovulate.. I don't know what it is, bu my guess is that since they are bigger as neonates a later laying and hatching date doesn't hurt them like it would in smaller colubrids.

I hope that you have been giving the female a break from the male between breedings. One must remember with aggressive breeders that they do use lots of energy doing so & will need breaks were they can relax, catch a meal & digest it. I know my male Cal-kings are just brutal to the females & I think the females appreciate a break for a few days every week. Your female Bull would probably like the rest also. Good luck with them. lol yes actually .. they just were on breaks for 10 days.. I put em back together .. and bam .. again lol

My 50-/50 caliking female who's a very eager breeder is still twitching to my touch even though she's going into her pre-lay shed!
