Cricket Dust??
I am just curious to see what kind of cricket dust you use and why! I use Reptivite because it was recommended to me by a vet.

I used to use reptivite and flukers along with a few others. I now use Rep-Cal. I have seen much better growth in babies then anything else. Reptivite has a very high amount of vit A, not good. Also the vit A to E is like 600/1. It is not a very well rounded supplement. Rep-Cal has been around since '87 and this is all they specialize in. Some calcium's are also harder to absorbed then others. Minerals also can take up to a month to be absorbed or used by the reptile.
Just my 2 pennies.

I have had great results with RecCal and Herpvite when I was breeding leos and beardies. I just never used them both at the same time. I alternated feedings dusted with each.

For my hatchling beardies I use Rep-Cal 6 days a week and Herptivite on Sundays and have had excellent results.

I alternate repcal w/o D3 and Nekton MSA. I like repcal a lot and the only reason I'm not using it for my calcium with D3 is because I haven't run out of Nekton yet. However, Nekton is a very high quality supplement and one of the reasons I really like it is that my geckos don't turn up their noses at it like they do with some of the other brands. I also put a little herptivite in my gutload and dust with it once a week or so.
