Asian Vine Snake

Hey guys, went to the reptile show yesterday and today. LLLreptile was there and had 5 Asian Vine snakes. I got to handle one. Very calm snake, real pretty. My fav snake! I dunno, I just wanted to tell you all. It made me feel good knowing it was mildly ven and all. . I also held a night snake, but I didnt know it was ven until the guy told us. SO that was cool too. Yup.

Vine snakes are very cool... can never get enough of them. Night snakes are too, I've been keeping one for about a year now, quite interesting - but hardly a worry about their venom.

Cool I held my first vine snake yesterday. It got out in my friends garage. He was a nippy little thing. Wasn't to ready to give up his freedom! Very lucky he didn't decided to have a look in the rubbermaid full of leopard geckos! It was a good feeling to catch it without getting tagged. Very cool snake! I would love to buy it!

i know vine snakes can BARELY even be considered venomous, but it worries me that a company would let you hold one at a show.
what if you took a bite and got mildly envenomated, and had an allergic reaction?

I have nothing against free handling them, but i dont know why LLL would take the liability of letting you hold it at a public show
