heat tape?

hello, i have a quick qustion about heat tape (i think thats what its called lol) anyways i wanted to know if i were get one of those clear 3 shelf rubbermaid things they have at like wal-mart, what would be the best way to stick heat tape to the bottom of each section?

they are no good for holding snakes. they will get right out. umm i dont think heat tape would work on that. maybe if you put it along the backs of the shelves?

i wanst gong to use it for snakes tho, probably leopard geckos and other ground dwelling geckos
