Websites on snake enviroment?

Anybody know any websites that show exactly what snakes are in what areas?

And does anybody know a website that would show what the enviroment looks like where the snakes come from?

Thanks.

Not really I the local conservation department in your area will sometimes have a websight, and another good place to check with is your local herp society! I belong to four different herp societys, two in missouri, one is kansas, and one in Texas and I am joing oklahoma's this year....good info plus you get to meet your local herpers!~

Well, it's not like every corn snake comes from the exact same habitat with 8.4 pine trees per acre or anything, so habitat shots are rare because they're pretty pointless.

If what you're looking for are range maps for particular species, get a peterson field guide ($14 US) they show the species range in north america. It also describes the general habitat in words. If you want to know about a specifiy state/province, usually using google with "reptiles of [insert locale here]" will usually give you what you're looking for....
