Red scales?

My little female IJ just shed today (crappy shed!), and as I was soaking her I noticed that she has a few pinkish scales on her stomach... For an inch or two, at about the middle point in her body, her scales are slightly reddish.
It can't be scale rot, because her cage is clean and the floor is dry.
Any ideas??

Well the snakes normally go pink on the belly before a shed, it should go away in a few days. I don't know what causes this, or why it is still apparent after her shed.

Ours are often a bit pinker than normal for a couple days after a shed, especially on our jungle X coastal carpet - he has such a white belly that the pink tinge really shows up. We also had it persist in a male jungle for a couple weeks. We removed a branch that had quite thick bark on it, that he had been spending a lot of time on, and the pinkness of his belly scales went away, so I am not sure with him if it was irritation from the bark, or just coincidence.
