Hi,

I am unsure of the different brands available in merry old England, but here in North America, Minwax is normally the preferred choice. Any water based polyurethane should do the trick, you will need several coats to waterproof the interior and remember to completely air out your viv before putting your corns into it. There is also a product called Varathane Colours-In-Plastic which I hear is quite good as well.

You should also post this question in the enclosure creations forum, and browse the postings there for more advice.

Hope this helps.
