A Savannah chomped my snake

Hey, I posted over in the Lampropeltis forum about a recent incident of a Savannah chomping his head last week.

Pretty scary! I still love Savannahs but DAMN! I will never have a snake near one again!

oh man, iam sure you're pretty upset about it and all, but what would possess you to put a savannah near a snake?

oops edited this because i read what you posted.. wasnt exactly your fault. good thing the kid wasn't bitten!! HAPPY to hear your milk is doing ok though, good luck and keep him away from savs!

Thanks, recovery is coming along well, and I am testifying to our whole herp society so they won't make the same mistake I did. This particular sav has been exposed to LOTS of other society member's snakes - from now on we'll be wiser!
